With the nice weather finally here to stay, a great way to get outside and stay active is by going for a jog.
Running doesn’t have to be a daunting form of exercise. Running groups are a great way to get introduced to the running world and meet people who share the same interest. You can join at any level and run with them at your own pace!
When: First and third Saturday of the month

When: Thursday at 6:30pm at the Conshohocken Brewing Company/Tuesday at 6:30pm, alternating between meeting at the Conshohocken Brewing Company and the Plymouth Whitemarsh

Details: Our main group run is dubbed #thirstythursday. We meet every Thursday at 6:30pm at the Conshohocken Brewing Company for a 45-60 minute group run down the Schuylkill River Trail followed by a few beers. Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, we alternate meeting at the Conshohocken Brewing Company and the Plymouth Whitemarsh track for speed-work. Coach Kristy Campbell from Run the Long Road creates speed workouts designed to help our runners achieve a variety of running goals from 5k to marathon.

Details: A fun, social running club for all the non-city-dwelling people who want to run out here in the suburbs! This group will take advantage of the great options for running in Valley Forge, Schuylkill trail, Haverford trail, and others in the 'burbs. As a social running club, most evening runs will be paired with a trip to a local drinking establishment for a well-earned drink or two.
