Beatty Harris Sports Medicine is a boutique nonsurgical sports medicine and physical therapy practice with locations in Newtown Square and Cherry Hill. As Main Line Today Top Docs, Physicians Dr. Tricia Beatty, Dr. Allen Harris, and Dr. Vincent Marchese are experts in the innovative treatment of acute injuries and chronic painful conditions in children, adolescents, and adults of all ages.

Tricia Beatty
DO, CAQSM

Dr. Beatty has a special interest in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions unique to females.

 

She has over 12 years of experience in the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound for guided joint injections and tendon procedures.

 

In addition, her clinical expertise in the non surgical management of acute and chronic injuries helps individuals of all ages and activity levels.

Allen Harris
DO, CAQSM

With special interest in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Harris specializes in helping high school and collegiate athletes get back to sport.

​

He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of sport related concussion and guided return to sport.

​

Skilled in ultrasound guided joint injections and procedures, he helps his patients relieve pain and restore previous level of function/activity.

Amber MacFarlane
DO, CAQSM

Amber MacFarlane, DO, is a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Physician who completed her Crozer Health residency and fellowship.

 

She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after obtaining a degree in Biology from Widener University.

 

She has been the team physician for the Philadelphia Union, Philadelphia Union 2, the University of Delaware, and more. She continues to be very active in weight lifting, running, and hiking.

Desirae Urban
PT, DPT

Over ten years of experience treating acute sports injuries and chronic orthopedic conditions, using a personalized, one on one approach. Specializes in the treatment of chronic overuse tendon injury with an expertise in manual therapy and Graston technique.

​

Additional certifications in selective functional movement screen, vestibular rehabilitation, and LVST BIG therapy for Parkinson’s and related movement disorders.

Corey Baldwin
PT, DPT

Passionate about sports rehabilitation of acute and chronic overuse injuries in athletes and active individuals of all ages, with a special interest in vestibular therapy for sports-related concussion.

Expert in the use of hands-on modalities including Graston technique, post-operative rehabilitation and the treatment of neck and back pain.

Jennifer Skaling
PT

Over 25 years of experience in the treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic and sports injuries using a personalized approach including manual therapy techniques and individualized exercise programs.

​

Her current certifications include: Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Screen.

Erik Caplan
PT, DPT, CSCS

With a background in general orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as strength and conditioning, sports performance, and personal training, Erik is an NSCA-certified strength and Conditioning Specialist. 

​

His clinical interests include injuries and conditions of the hip, knee, and ankle, especially tendon pathology. He enjoys tailoring treatment plans to the needs of each individual and believes that education and effective communication are critical components of the rehabilitation process.
